Responsibilities include providing direction and leadership to the Department, setting standards and accountability for timely permit, inspection and code compliance processes, monitoring staff report preparation, reviewing and coordinating responses to City Council/citizen inquiries, budget preparation and fiscal tracking, coordinating the inter-departmental collaborative objectives, coordinating responses to regional planning initiatives, and researching and analyzing data for inclusion in reports and special studies.
Additionally, the Administration Division of the Community Development Department leads and supports all of the Department’s special projects.
